Over 600 8th graders from area schools visited the 8th Grade Career Fair at Morris High School. The Morris Plant spoke to the students about careers, salaries and end-use products of the plant.

September 30, 2022 – The Morris Plant, along with Government Relations and External Affairs hosted four elected officials at the facility, along with the American Chemistry Council. The tour focused on local manufacturing jobs, technology and advancements within the industry.,
Morris Plant Presents “Lab Ratz” to Local Library
Local kids were able to spend the afternoon doing science experiments at the local Morris Library thanks to LyondellBasell. The program offers free science experiments/education with all supplies purchased through a grant from LyondellBasell. Each month different science experiments take place.
Clinton Complex Implements Additional Recycling in Lab
The Clinton Complex recently implemented recycling of plastic wastes generated through lab testing. As a result, 22.6 pounds/approximately 27 cubic feet of plastics were collected in just one week. The image shows the newest recycling efforts in the Clinton Lab resulting in keeping this plastic out of the landfill.
