Clinton Complex and Northeast Elementary Fourth Graders Celebrate Earth Day

May 23, 2023

In anticipation of Earth Day, the LyondellBasell Clinton Complex and fourth graders from Northeast Elementary School came together to pick up trash along Copper Creek Trail in Preston. LyondellBasell provided supervisors and gloves to guide the students along the way. The annual field trip teaches students about the benefits of volunteering their time, and how small acts like cleaning up trash have a large impact to the environment. Following this project, students were challenged to create their own ‘Awesome Project’, which requires at least two hours of volunteerism that impacts someone other than themselves.
