LyondellBasell Reliability Engineer Amanda Hudson always knew what she wanted to be. She had a passion for learning, excelled in math and science and was often found trying to build and create things.
“Engineering was a natural fit for me,” said Hudson. Upon graduation, she was hired full time by the LyondellBasell Clinton Plant.
“I mostly support day-to-day maintenance and equipment reliability improvement efforts. My job is a mix of performing preventative maintenance to keep equipment running (similar to taking your car to the mechanic for a tune-up before any major problems occur), responding to equipment issues, and making strategic upgrades to improve long term performance.”
Hudson is responsible for overseeing the LyondellBasell Clinton condition monitoring programs in the plant.
