Clinton Gardner’s Grow Produce for Local Food Pantry

Understanding there is a need for fresh vegetables and fruit, the Clinton Complex started collecting food grown from employees garden’s each week to donate to the Camanche and Clinton Food Bank.
Around 12-15 donors grow and donate food ranging from green beans, beats, eggplant, tomatoes (roma, cherry, grape, big berthas, heirloom), potatoes, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, lettuce, radishes, bell pepper, sweet pepper, jalapeno peppers. Collectively, the food donations add up to around 20-50 lbs of produce each week for the food bank since July 12!
