When Aaron Miner a manager at the LyondellBasell Plant and advocate of Junior Achievement (JA) heard LyondellBasell employees could not get into classrooms for the second year in a row due to COVID-19, Miner gathered his volunteers to teach local students virtually.
Junior Achievement is a nonprofit organization that brings the real world to students through hands-on curriculum delivered by a trained classroom volunteer. JA programs inspire and prepare young people around the world for success in a global economy by teaching them the key concepts of workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.
LyondellBasell employees taught two schools and covered 36 classes!
