This year Lyondell has given generous grants to first responders to be used for safety equipment. We are applying our grant towards our new Ballistic Vests.”
LyondellBasell is proud to advance good through supporting our local first responders in various capacities, including equipment needs. This year LyondellBasell provided grants to the Morris Fire District, Morris Police Department and Grundy County Sheriff Department.
The Fire District will be purchasing Purple K fire extinguishers to be supplied for both Grundy County Sherriff and Morris Police patrol vehicles. These extinguishers will give arriving Law Enforcement Officers a dedicated fire extinguisher for flammable liquid fires such as oil and gasoline fires.
